Anigre comes out of Africa (most commonly from tropical areas in eastern Africa). It has a rather standard hardness - 990lbs (4,380 N), and has a light yellowish-brown coloring, which tends to darken to a golden brown with age. As for the grain - it is straight and interlocked.
